Who are the brave Indian women?


Please briefly explain why you feel this question should be reported .


From Jhansi Ki Rani to Neerja Bhanot, Indian brave women have always stood up for their rights and fought their battles despite restrictions and limitations. They are the shining beacons of hope, example of scarification, courage to change and have displayed exemplary dedication in their respective fields. So I want to know more from you guys.

    Apart from the people already in the limelight due to their contribution, but there are few more people who I think deserve much more attention than they have been given. Actually, I used Wikipedia for information related to this person the main aim is to provide information about them. So I tried my best here but there are much more people those still not get the attention so you can mention your answer.

    I)Sindhutai Sapkal:
    68-year-old Sindhutai Sapkal, also known as Mother of Orphans, is known particularly for her work for raising orphan children. She was Born 14 November 1948 and she was abandoned by her husband when she was 9 months pregnant. After the birth of her daughter, she started begging in railway stations. Soon she realized that there were many children who were abandoned by their parents. She decided to become a mother to anyone and everyone who came across to her as an orphan. She started begging more vigorously to feed her children. Till date, she has nurtured over 1050 orphaned. She was conferred Doctorate in Literature by the D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology and Research.
    Sindhutai has been honored with 750 awards. The Marathi movie released in 2010 ‘Mee Sindhutai Sapkal’ director by Anant Mahadevan is a biopic of the true story of Sindhutai. Also, this movie was selected for world premiere at the 54th London Film Festival.
    II)Arunima Sinha:
    Arunima Sinha is the first Indian handicap to clear Mount Everest. She is also the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest. She was born on 20 July 1988. She from Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
    She was a national level volleyball player who was pushed from a running train by thieves in 2011 while she was resisting them. As a result, one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee.
    Her aim was to climb all the continents’ highest peaks and put the national flag of India. She has already done five peaks: 1. Everest in Asia, 2. Kilimanjaro in Africa, 3. Elbrus in Europe, 4. Kosciuszko, Australia and 5. Aconcagua in Argentina as the world’s five highest peaks.6. Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya), Indonesia.
    III)Kunjarani Devi:
    Kunjarani was born on 1 March 1968 at Kairang Mayai Leikai of Imphal area from Manipur, she started taking interest in sports from in Imphal’s Sindam Sinshang Resident High School in 1978. After she finished her graduation from Maharaja Bodha Chandra College in Imphal, weightlifting was her first choice.
    So for her passion, she joined the CRPF. She also very actively participates in various events. She also participates in Police Championships, Kunjarani Devi was captained of the Indian Police team from 1996 to 1998.
    At the age of 49, she is most celebrated weight lifter in India, she was awarded in 1990 with Arjuna Award and in 1996-97 Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. In 2011 she was honored with Padma Shri award from Government of India for her best contribution in women sports event.
    Most of us don’t know who is she and what she did in her life while facing lots of difficulties but the most important are her achievements.
